It's hard to give 5 stars in a shared male dorm. Lovely building, old antique feel. Old Hollywood. Super close to star-walk and historical buildings and places. Lots to see here. Fridges with food labels, and outdoor dining patio. Quite nice space

The place overall was quite cute! We stayed for 3 nights. The kitchen is equipped and has 3 fridge so you can put your labelled food in it. We had a private room, so we had a bathroom included in the room. The room is very basic but clean and fine. I was hoping for atleast a hook or something to hang my wet towel, but there wasn't quite too much storage other than 1 shelf. I've never seen a bathroom like this :D it was a shower, toilet and sink all in one. This means it's all wet once you shower. They had a hairdryer in the room which came in handy. At night, it was a bit loud as you heard people talking through the thin walls right away. The location was perfect, right in Hollywood Centre. The one thing that bothered me the most is that the whole place has a weird smell. However, I still recommend the hostel and think it is good.

A stones throw from all the action of Hollywood yet so peaceful and comfortable. Had a good sleep and loved the squirrels in the garden. Old building but reasonably maintained. Secure access and felt safe. Would stay again for location and value.

The best thing about this place is the location as it’s in central Hollywood. However that makes the area noisy & it’s very loud at night. The house is really old & shouldn’t be operating as a hostel as there’s a lot of obvious upgrades that are needed in order for it to be a modern facility. It was bugs in my room & ants crawling on the wall in the kitchen. There was also a gas leak somewhere as there was a strong smell of gas periodically but I don’t know where it was coming from & the staff didn’t seem to care when I mentioned it. This place is a health hazard & I’m going to file a report due to the unsanitary conditions because it needs to be shut down until the necessary upgrades have been made as I’m positive it would fail the inspections that are required to operate as a hostel.

Who knew you could find affordable accommodations in the heart of Hollywood. Being that it am old mansion, it looks dated but added character and charm. Property was clean and staff friendly. Only downside if you will, the room were a little small.

Quiet, clean, cheap + friendly hostel in a spacious 1920s house w/ dozens of varied-sized rooms and plenty of solo bathrooms and showers. The kitchen is compact + well-organized, w/ 3 fridge/freezers to store your food, plus a small cooking station + a handy separate faucet w/ quite hot water for tea + coffee. I'd stay here again!

Very well located around the corner of Hollywood Boulevard. Easy access to freeway. Not too far from Griffith Observatory. Friendly staff. Nice garden to relax. Quiet and peaceful. Not a party hostel. Kitchenfacilities. Good bed. Good shower. Clean. Parking facilities (small additional fee). Hostel could use some maintenance.

Super clean 1920s huge home turned into a lovely place to stay right in the heart of Hollywood. Totally recommend. There's $10 a day parking in the back lot. A kitchen downstairs on the bottom floor. Multiple shared restrooms on all the floors. Workers were beyond nice and accommodating, super kind and friendly. Everyone staying there was laid-back, and the place had great vibes. The showers were always piping hot. Beautiful front lawn and outdoor seating area with patio furniture and jasmine hedges. A hidden gem for a budget accommodation in Hollywood. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! The women's dorm was great and super affordable. Right next to the Tropicana and Madame Tusades.
